Friendship

I believe one of the biggest blessing about coming home, after my DTS, has been the many friendships I have been able to continue and rebuild. Isn't God sweet? I am continually amazed at the amount of detail that goes into each and every single one of his amazing creatures. He knows who we need, when we need them, and for how long.

Over the last couple of months I've been able to get to know those I left behind (for a time) on a whole different level. It's so wonderful how wherever I go I get to share my life with them, I get to enjoy their company, and I get to benefit from their wisdom.

Over the last two weekends I've enjoyed spending time wake boarding, tubing, swimming, crying and laughing with some dear friends. Friends that have been there for me through so many years and so many trials. God has blessed and enriched my life because of these people. I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm sooo thankful! Thank you, Jesus, for these people. Thank you for relationships that come and go. Thank you for what I've learned and even the bridges that I've had to burn. You have taught me so much and I'm blessed beyond words.

In a week my roommate from DTS (JANINE!!!) is coming to spend a week with me in Seattle before we head down to Cali. to go to Sarah's wedding. I cannot wait to show her my city and enjoy her company. After the wedding Eilidh is coming to spend time with me in Seattle for a few days as well. I'm so blessed! Thank you God for this time of fellowship, joy, and time to celebrate this beautiful relationship between Sarah and Nathan.

I'm thankful. What would we do without our friendships. Ultimately, I know it has been thanks to my savior that these people have been apart of my life. He knows me. He knows my name. He knows what I need. He knows me. I'm blown away by that!

I'll write more soon. My job is going great. It's such a great environment and God has blessed me with opportunities to share my faith... even if it be small He's working behind the scenes. Summer has been filled with (obviously) friendships and fellowship. I'm going to community college in the fall to finish my AA (probably will take me 4 quarters). After that/during... who knows!

God Bless you guys!
-Shanna :)
